GNC people go through so fucking much from their own communities and we need to stop normalizing it.
In gay spaces, when something goes wrong internally, we are the first ones to recieve backlash by our GC counterparts. We cannot act like the privelege of gender conformity and the socially ingrained nature of Gynarchophobia/Cuphobia isn't deep within our community.
We are shunned. Told to shut up. We're redirected to a common enemy when we face bigotry. Our experiences are objectified. We're reduced, beaten, sexualized, all while we smile as we hold up the very building of queer spaces.
It doesn't do much to ignore Gynarchophobia/Cuphobia. It just hurts us all.
It's especially dangerous when GC trans people speak over our experience and pride as our gender and allinity. A good portion of feminine trans women use their voices to speak up for our rights, but when a butch trans woman speaks of her experience we're all of a sudden holding "the community back"
We're both trans. The issue is your view of GNC people, especially Masculine Women. Weaponizing your internal transphobia, by associating masculine women with men. We were never men. We are no different than cis masc women.
It's similar with alot of femmes. Their issues with their femininity intersect with their lesbian identity, which butches agree. But when they speak up about gynarchophobia, they use their comparitively priveledged position to minimize our experiences as the same. Relatively, the amount of discrimination is colossal since we're visibly GNC.
When gay men are targetted, they come for GNC men. When gay women are targetted, they come for GNC women. We're punished for the crime of living as a soul :((( and we can't fucking say shit about it!
From birth we've been molded to become a horrific monster that isn't who we are. Then we are told by the ones who should understand that we've gone too far. We're told our sexuality bounds us to people who still seek to control us. It's never enough anywhere for Trans GNC people. Hell, I'm a Trans GNC Bisexual who's GNC4GNC!!! It's ROUGH.

Aw thanks! I'm here to dispel any misconceptions about Mollis from someone who's been feminine her whole life. This community is in it's infancy, so starting off right should be a good priority for us.
I love that I'm learning that agab terminolgy is for intersex people. I always hated it in trans spaces because everyone always uses it to misgender you.
It's not contreversial to say gnc trans people are oppressed by their gc counterparts within a community context.
If you say you're feminine in a trans man setting your jaw will drop how people treat you just like cis people do.
It's not an out there concept either especially with transmedicalists and detransitioners punching down their own communitty. We're the first to be attacked.

yeah, i get it. i just feel like if i don't accept that society does not treat me as a type of woman, then i'm expected to ignore why i constantly get barred from femininity and pushed into masculine roles. i do think trans ppl are paradoxically punished for any gender presentation tho (being too masculine as a trans woman is used as evidence one shouldn't transition or is detransitioning, as i said).
i personally felt like the sapphic community wasn't very supportive of femme trans women, that trans women get constantly butch-ified and top-ified on account of being "amab", and felt there was no way to describe this other than "we are being treated like a type of man and subject to male expectations". which is obviously transphobia, but i feel like i have to acknowledge the gender roles that the problem is rooted in. i think it would be wrong to claim that being a woman now is my only out from male gender roles, that its only wrong because its misgendering me, because the gender roles i've been subject to also harm cis mollis in similar ways. its better to cut the problem at its source (expecting people to be certain ways based on what genitals they were born with) instead of claiming exemption by transition. which is why i choose to criticize gender roles in general instead of only the misgendering aspect of my experiences. and my life partner is a cis gnc woman so gnc issues as they apply to cis people do have personal impact to me as well. i believe there is no aspect of my social dysphoria that could not be solved by the abolition of gender roles for everyone. physical dysphoria is a different story, and that is what transition is needed for.
what i am saying is i feel the mollis label communicates my sexuality & needs better and the hetgnc community is more welcoming to the way i am. by criticizing gender roles at the source i can escape the top-ification.
If you're not multigender, it's okay to be a transbian. You don't have to misgender yourself.
i don't relate to "transbian" culture (i don't rly like that word, i'd prefer to just be called a lesbian in this context), i feel like it comes from a very uhh,,t4t centric subculture, which has little to do with me. i'd kinda rather be misgendered than forced into that subculture.
i guess you could call me multigender if you wanted, i don't really care. i have binary dysphoria as i'd describe it, and want to have a vagina. but other than preferring she/her my thoughts on inner identity are kind of "i don't know and i don't care, perceive me as you will". my self perception is just weird and i don't know how to describe it & see no point in really trying. i just know that trans woman is what the world sees me as, what my family sees me as, and is the best way to explain my medical goals to people. sometimes i see myself as a femme lesbian, sometimes i still see myself as a straight gnc boy, but i have dysphoria either way.

The point was that internally I know what I am, so I'm not going to stand for being treated differently than what I am. The world responds differently if I were a feminine man. Feminine men aren't being genocided right now, trans women are. Masculine trans women are treated without an ounce of respect in the cis sapphic community, hell even in their own community due to internalized transphobia and bigotry against masculine women that is EVERYWHERE.
We go through alot. So even slightly misgendering us with cis men is going to make us mad. It's a priviledge all gender conforming people have. As a masculine trans woman I've been objectified, beaten, yelled at, my life threatened, excluded, and misgendered by the ones I thought closest only because of who I truly am. It's not to say you or noone else has experinced the same, it's just you see uglier sides from more people when you're actually a masculine woman.

i think it makes sense that feminine trans women would relate to being mollis because society just does not view us as a type of women & permit us femininity accordingly. it just doesn't. society does not treat us as a kind of women.
i don't condone anyone in the community attacking anyone else but i am saying that transfem mollis shouldn't be excluded or stated to not exist. i grew up as a hetgnc boy and won't ignore that experience, but that's only how i feel personally. i like being seen as a woman but i'm reluctant to fully embrace that position since it is not sociopolitically accurate to my life or history, but i understand that some ppl will prioritize internal identity over how society treats them which is okay.
I disagree fullheartedly as a trans woman. We're both trans women here as well so I hope you understood I never stated they don't exist. But I think it's absurd to say all of our experiences are the same for the sole reason that our identities are different. Because of that difference, the world has a different response to each of us in turn, within our own communuties and context. I'm not priortizing personal identity over how society treats me, as a masculine trans woman I am treated poorly based on the poor understanding they have of my identity.
This also assumes the identity of being a feminine man is equal to the identity of a feminine woman on the axis of gender, which isn't true at all without making large assumptions.
I won't say much else since I know you're struggling with being accepted as a woman internally, I definitely get that as I've been in the trenches before.

i don't think its fair to treat me identically to a feminine cis woman, because cis women are expected to be feminine from birth and i am not. like me posting about my own femininity should not be construed as "let women wear makeup" posting because society does not regard me as a type of woman. i didn't say "all of our experiences are the same" tho, and all trans people face transphobia because a lot of transphobia centers on fearmongering against medical transition, this is a factor regardless of gender presentation.
and i do agree that ppl are shitty to "unconventional" trans ppl bc despite being a femme i was deemed "too boyish" to be a "real trans woman" because i didn't play with enough dolls as a kid or something and my transition was questioned, not to mention the fact i'd become a lesbian was played as a reason i shouldn't transition.
so yeah i get it, i think i was just frustrated with the implication that there's *no* connection between being transfem and being mollis, bc there def is for me. but that's personal. believe me tho i get the "this feels misgendery" frustration bc i'm very tired of trans women being equated to drag queens and gay men, but that's primarily bc it doesn't even describe my pre-transition experience, as i'm not attracted to men and am bothered by misogynist subcultures.
