Tragicomedic, isn't it?

ALRIGHT my *friends,* let’s get a couple things out of the way before I begin! A couple of ground rules:

PLEASE for the love of god be nice to me! I’m afraid of the internet! Terrified! And frankly, I have not a single clue what I’m doing or how this platform works! Give me a little grace. If you decide to be a meanie to me I will block you, but that goes without saying…

I will refuse engaging with politics or anything serious in general here, this is for fun, not conflict! So don’t bother.

I am 19! Keep in mind that I am an adult even if some of my interests are more kid-oriented. If you are a kid I won’t necessarily ignore you, but… just keep it in mind.

I will not discuss NSFW subject material… I could potentially like posts that involve those topics, but I won’t discuss it directly. I am comfortable with most swearing though.

There may be things I forgot to put on this list and it could be changed in the future. But really, who reads these to begin with?

Now for my interests. I have fandoms, but my interests are usually surrounding ONE character in particular. I think that’s relevant to mention so I’ll include the characters I’m interested in along with the fandoms. Talk to me about any of these, I’d be happy to hear your thoughts! Also, I usually get fixated on one at a time, sometimes for a long time… It’ll probably be obvious which one I’m currently into, right now it’s Ninjago. I’ll update my list if I find new interests.

Ninjago: my favorite character is Garmadon, and I love Wu, Misako, and Lloyd and their dynamic with him as well. I’m less into the ninja, but I like them too. Besides Lloyd, I’m partial to Zane :) I’ve seen everything up until the oni trilogy and bits and pieces of Crystalized. I haven’t watched any Dragons Rising and probably won’t.

Kirby: I have only one Kirby game, Forgotten Land. I’m a big fan of the anime, actually. I’m cool with people disliking it though! We all have our preferences. My favorite character is King Dedede and I love him in the games and the anime. I also love Escargoon. I do ship them.

Cookie Run Kingdom: I play Crk, but I haven’t been active for a while. I could put my code on here sometime but I’m too lazy to get it right now lmfao. I also play ovensmash, but I don’t like the other games. My favorite character is Licorice Cookie ofc. I love the rest of the cookies of darkness as well, especially Pomegranate and Dark Enchantress. I don’t care for the beasts or ancients at all, I just love the COD with all my heart.

The Book of Life: I LOVE the Book of Life. Xibalba and La Muerte are my OTP. I mostly care about the gods. I love Candlemaker too he’s a sweetie. Haven’t seen MATT but I know a good deal of the lore.

Look Outside: I LOVE THIS GAME SMMMM. I love every character to bits, they are all my little freaks. Lyle is my favorite character, I also love Sam, Hellen, Pierre, and Philippe, and likely more I’m not thinking of at the moment.

Minecraft Story Mode: I just love Ivor, I relate to him more than any other character I’ve seen, dead serious. I also love the rest of the old order of the stone and I’m a big fan of Romeo

Cult of the Lamb: I’m just really into the game itself right now! It’s one of my favorite games of all time because the gameplay is so genius to me. I may rant about that sometime. Not really in the fandom per-se, but I’d love to talk about game design.

Idk how people feel about season 3 but I really like it. Especially Zane and Pixal. That part is peak.

I think tournament of elements is my favorite season but we’ll see how I feel when I get to that part… I mean Chen is probably in my top 5 favorite Ninjago villains ever. He’s a total child but also probably the most manipulative and slimy character in the whole show. Actually lemme rank them right now

I am focused on MBTI as I said in my initial post about MBTI, but for this I'm actually including enneagram because I wrote this in the past and included it there. Going forward I likely will not include enneagram (except for other old analysis), but I MAY consider it.

Licorice is an INFP

(Also, I think I posted this same analysis somewhere else, that PDB website, but I deleted that account. If by some chance you saw that, this was not stolen or smth, I am just the same person)

Licorice Cookie very clearly leads with introverted feeling. Everything he does is linked to his own feelings and morals, what he believes he deserves, and how others' actions make him feel.

Licorice feels like he has been done a disservice by the rest of the world. He has been rejected despite his talents (or perceived talents) and his main goal is to prove that he is worthy of praise. This is highly characteristic of a 4w3 (I am unique and special, and I should be recognized for that!).

"From a young age, Licorice Cookie dreamed of becoming a wizard but never received the recognition he so rightfully deserved. Eventually, he turned to the forbidden arts of Black Magic." (A 4w3 would likely choose to be hated rather than loved if it means they can remain true to themselves. There is a difference between a desire to be loved and a desire to be respected)

He is highly emotional, but his style of communication has nothing to do with the feelings of the group. He communicates his plans with and seems to prefer enacting them with others, not alone. This is probably why he always has Bat-Cat and Schwarzwalder with him, because even if he doesn't allow them to provide real input, he has the opportunity to bounce his ideas off of them (he also needs the help and strength from Schwarzwalder). Fi is his dominant function because of how strong and significant to his personality it is, and Te is very low in his stack but still present.

Taking into account others' logical arguments: "... Err, I read it in a book! Every villain is supposed to have their own cool catch phrase!" Asks for the input of others: "Is it just me, or is he talking real funny?" (Hollyberry Kingdom, referring to Schwarzwalder) "So, that's that then. Time for the next step then: summoning the monsters of the Licorice Sea?" (frames this as a question, not a statement) General Te: (Talking about Dark Choco) "What else is new? He's always been like that! he betrayed his home. He ran away. Now he's doing the same thing to us!"

Te moments are subtle because Licorice's Te is inferior. Fi moments are very strong because his Fi is dominant.

Fi, expression of personal emotions: "Oh, really? Here's a thought. YOU ARE NOT OUR MASTER, OKAY? 'Do this, do that, blah blah blooey!'" (To Pomegranate, a character he actively resents)

Quite literally dominant Fi (I cannot see how you could argue otherwise): "What's wrong with crying?! If you want to cry, cry! The BTS Cookies told you to be true to yourself!" (said as his sprite suggests that he is crying)

Licorice does express some care for others, but, of course, that does not automatically mean he has Fe. He is so heavily focused on his own feelings that he must have Fi high in his stack.

When it comes to perceiving functions, some might argue that he seems more like a sensor, which is possible, but if he was a sensor, he would have to have introverted sensing. I cannot see extroverted sensing in Licorice Cookie at all. He does a very poor job of engaging with the physical environment. Not only is he clumsy, but his main style of attack is magic. Magic, in the CRK universe, is a mental skill (this is NOT to say that sensors cannot engage with a mental skill and intuitives cannot engage with a physical skill), and is usually used from afar. Licorice is also not very interested in the present moment. He is so fixated on what is happening next that he doesn't take the chance to appreciate what is happening in the moment. For example, in the Hollyberry Kingdom episodes, Bat-Cat and Schwarzwalder frequently point out what's around them in excitement. Bat-Cat in particular mentions food:

Bat-Cat: "Tasty... Looks tasty! Can we have a bite, just one!?"

Licorice: "Now's not the time for food! Have you forgotten about our mission?! We must infiltrate the Palace and snatch the Treasure as our Master ordered!"

(Grandberry Market, episode 10)

It takes a lot of convincing for Licorice to participate in the Hollyberry Kingdom's festivities because he cares a lot more about his ultimate goal of impressing DE. This is more future-oriented. I cannot think of any decisions Licorice makes that are based on the present.

HOWEVER, the past is important to Licorice. He dwells in the past and has a tendency to hold grudges for a VERY long time. His whole personality is being bitter. Sounds like an Fi-Si loop. Given that I would argue he is an INFP, Licorice has Fi, Ne, Si, Te.

Also: Inferior Te can show up as a fixation on productivity, which is often handled with business or control. This is textbook for Licorice and may show up more often because he is stressed.

Also, also: Given that Licorice knew there was no chance Dark Enchantress would ever give him the recognition he wants, he would likely leave the cookies of darkness. The only reason why he's still around is because he believes she is the only route to this recognition. Licorice almost pretends to be as loyal as he is to DE because he knows extreme loyalty will give him a better chance of being appreciated by her. Pomegranate Cookie is an example of a character who ACTUALLY looks up to DE and is truly loyal (likely because she has romantic feelings for her). My point? Licorice is VERY individualistic and independent. He is following DE because she will give him something he wants (so I do not think his loyalty is a good argument for 6w7).

I would LOVE people to ask me what MBTI type I think a character has. I will go in depth, explaining each function and how it contributes to the full stack. I may even discuss shadow functions.

Also, there is a chance you could bring up a character I don't know very well, especially in series packed with a ton of characters like Ninjago and CRK. If that happens, I'll do my best, but it might take me longer to get to. I did list my fandoms here but I'm willing to try characters from elsewhere too. In that case, likely give me some extra info on them to help.

Also, you could argue I’m wrong about Emperor being the best written version of Garmadon, and that’s fine, that’s not really the point of what I’m saying. This could apply to any other character too. You are allowed to have preferences based on nostalgia! Thats fine, just own that!

We should also let people dislike any version of a character and not discredit them as a “real fan” or something. Not sure how much that happens in this fandom but it does happen elsewhere for a fact. I’ve seen very mixed feelings on Sensei Garmadon, for example. Personally, I LOVE Sensei Garmadon. I’m obsessed with Garmadon as a whole so I feel it gives us another layer to who he is. It’s nice to see how he would be if he was fully good like Wu and to compare them. HOWEVER. I have NOTHING against people who dislike Sensei Garmadon and I can absolutely see why they weren’t a fan. He is probably less interesting on his own in seasons 3 + 4, and there’s a lot less of that inner turmoil he’s known for. He’s also just a regular guy here, and oni Garmadon has a lot more appeal in terms of design. He has that “odd little creechur” thing going for him, even more as Lord Garmadon than Sensei.
