"soldier boy" focuses on joaquin, but it's actually joaquin from the perspective of manolo :D (you can think about it as manolo singing about joaquin)

vice versa, "don't forget me" focuses on manolo, but it's manolo in joaquin's eyes (again, think of it as joaquin talking/singing about manolo)

"are you man enough" has both of their perspectives! in the first half the lyrics are manolo's guilt ("take the blame for this" refers to maria's 'death', and manolo deciding to follow her to the land of the remembered), while the second half is joaquin's guilt ("take the blame for this" refers to manolo's death, what joaquin believes is a result of what he said to him at the bridge)
