These pieces explore map animation techniques and varying form to show shoreline retreat. The extruded maps are built using Cinema 4D and geotiff data from the U.S. Geological Survey.

These maps are depicting sea level rise in North Carolina using different graphic techniques. They show intermediate steps from 0ft to a 6ft increase in sea level, which is the most aggressive prediction being thrown out by scientist for the year 2100.
