Some of you may be wondering where I’ve gone (though if you aren’t, that’s perfectly fine). To cut a long story short, I’ve got a promotion at my new job, and I broke up with my long term boyfriend, so things have been chaotic and painful all at the same time.

I am intending to come back to Tumblr, I just need time. I’m still piecing myself back together, but I also still have studying to do (remember the PT course I started in March? That’s still a thing). I appreciate your patience. If you’d rather I don’t continue our threads when I do come back, just let me know. I will be looking to start a lot of new ones, running on the assumption that most of mine have died.

It was capitulation - drawn-out and somehow sudden all at once - but it was capitulation. Eyes only briefly flitted over to where Mel was sat, the faintest beginnings of a smile beginning to form at the sight. A relaxed agent. How rare. “Back to the drawing board, yeah. At least we’ve got a pattern of absences to work from, hm?”

Phil’s jaw stiffens at the question, the man himself taking a few seconds to think before blurting out ‘perfectly secure’ like he so desperately wants to. “From what I’ve been told-” a little bit of blame deflection, that “-they’re perfectly secure. You don’t sound quite as convinced as I was.”

“No, it’s not a dig!” she laughs. “But you don’t exactly give off outdoorsy vibes.” Nodding at his assurance that, yes, he had been on a nature trail. “Okay. Good. That means I won’t have to hold you up if it gets a little challenging.” She knew that wouldn’t be the case anyway–Tony was in pretty good shape–but she still liked to tease. “This is gonna be so much fun. Honestly, I’ve always wanted to do something like this with you. It’s like introducing you to a hobby of mine.”

“It’s a sonic screwdriver, and I didn’t find it. I made it.” She replied with a proud grin. She aimed it at the door, sighing in relief as it unlocked. That would have been really embarrassing. “Alright, TARDIS? She should be around here somewhere.”
