This situation did massively suck. Besides the food situation and dealing with his phone and TV remote with half-covered hands, there were basic tasks that were taking at least two times longer to accomplish. He’s even had to use his clones and very odd and awkward angles to help himself with said tasks. Totally embarrassing if he had someone witnessing his struggle but at least it was just him here.

The multiplier looks at the small drone she pulls out with curious brows raised, mouth slightly agape in wonder before grinning in pure delight like a kid in a candy store as it’s turned on and floating in front of him.

"Ohh, now this gonn’ be lotsa fun ta play with. Alright, lil’ spider, 3D print new forearms for me." The hovering robot stays silent for a few seconds before simply responding with command not recognized. "… Worth a shot." He shrugs before turning back to Ally.

"Can’t hug ya ‘cause a’ the cement arms but—" He leans down to press his lips to the middle of her forehead, giving a quick and friendly kiss of gratitude and appreciation. "Truly, thank you, Allison." A warm smile is given before he looks back over at the floating spider, now following him, to examine it again.

Once the tray was in and the oven was closed, Ally stood back up to her normal height and watched him play with the drone, chuckling at his attempt at a command. "Maybe try for something a little more routine. Like," she scanned around his living room, "can you pick up that water bottle please?"

The drone takes a second before a small robotic voice calls out, "On it." The little bug flew over to the coffee table, picked up the bottle, and brought it over to Ally.

"Like that," she grinned.

She smiles at the kiss to her forehead; it's a surprise, but not an unwelcome one, and she felt her chest warm. "Well, I can hug you." She wrapped her arms around him, keeping it gentle, but still making sure he could feel the embrace.
