A Diary of Some Sort

On the other side, Jay's leg kicks upwards into Matt's outreached palm, as if he's running away. A panel behind his leg shows golden fireworks shooting off. Above his leg, an orange cable with an exposed ends gravitate towards Matt's fingers, electricity fizzing off of it. The sentence continues below the pair: "know that I get hurt in the recoil". The piece is warm with shocks of colder blues.

The first two show the pair hugging at the end of The Boost episode of the show, Jay dressed in a hospital gown. The bottom two depict the hug after the reveal in The Buddy episode. The left panels show Jay's side of the hugs, while the right show Matt's. Jay is cut off before you see his eyes, and clutches tight. Matt is either burying his head into Jay's shoulder or looking up in teary-eyed anguish. Around these panels, a sentences begins: "(press your bruise into my bruise,". At the bottom of the page, it continues with "look through the tears in your eyes into the ones in mine". These words curve around close-ups of the duos eyes as they tear up, Jay's sinking down into Matt's.

A newspaper detailing Jay shooting his bandmate drifts down into a panel of Matt holding the orange cable as he connects the clippers to the power box. Below this, there's a blown up image of Matt and Jay like in the episode The Banner, a flame travelling up over the blackened silhouette of Jay as Matt looks at him with a nervous smile and sweats. Written next to Matt it says "the day you die". Below the banner is a panel of Matt fake hanging himself in the episode The Battle of the Bands, the words continuing with " would be the day I die too;".

Image five: Page five of a digital comic based on Matt and Jay from Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. It begins with Jay - from The Boost episode - clutching the rails of his hospital bed. This is swallowed up in a trail of flames on the asphalt of the road, Matt's hat laying discarded on it. Separating the flames and the hat is two fortune cookie fortunes overlapped to say "it may be the day I kill you". The numbers at the bottom first show the date they first time travel to in 2008, and the day of the CN Tower plan and Matt's electrocution.

The first shows Matt focused on the whiteboard as he writes out the CN Tower plan, seemingly content. The next panel shows Jay looking at him with a soft smile and shining eyes. This leads into a larger whiteboard with the phrase "(it may be the day you let me).". The last three words have a slight smudge behind them, and the whiteboard marker trails down from the full stop. The whiteboard has a bright orange trim.]
