The primordial Black Ooze is a symbolic representation of original sin. It comes from below and engulfs everything it touches. In many senses it represents oil, fossil fuels (dead juice) that power global industrialization. Like Sauron’s One Ring, technology is compellingly hypnotic. It consumes our minds, our identities, and even the physicality of planet earth. The opposite is the divine milk of mankind, semen. With similar propagation properties and an undeniable association with craving (sex drive), the difference ends where white creates new life from nothing, while black can only consume, corrupt and assimilate.
