My favorite summer meals right now are making crispy potatoes in the cast iron with tons of sage butter from sage I harvested in the desert, spinach rolls filled with shrimp, rice, cucumber, spicy mayo, and basil from the garden. Zucchini bread with pads of very very soft butter just left on the counter. Tuna salad with anchovies, raw garlic, mustard and dill smeared on radish slices. Marinated tomatoes. Heirloom melons. Seeded watermelon kept in the refrigerator. Salad dressing with the herbal vinegar I made (horsetail, nettle, rosehip.) Warm olive oil infused with herbs and olives on a baguette. Sweet plantains and rice. Shrimp linguine with butter parmesan roasted red peppers and parsley. Big cups of electrolyte water with lemon salt and maple syrup in the morning. Local peaches. The crawfish cornbread from Robert’s Fresh Market 😋

Love a big Sunday lunch tomorrow I’m making for the first plate tagliatelle with crema di patate and sausage and then for second eggplant Parmesan and chicken cutlet with lemon to squeeze. I’m starting on the sauce now at 10pm I bleed for this. For dessert gelato and peaches
