i feel like morgan dudley doesnt get enough recognition for her eurydice like jack wolfe gets for his orpheus

i feel like without a good eurydice you cant have a good orpheus, they go hand in hand

by no means am i discrediting wolfe, i just REALLY like dudley’s eurydice and its hard to have a good hadestown if their couples dont have the on stage chemistry they need and the pair did PERFECTLY

like im talking the minor displays of affection from the both of them were so good

she was literally the most perfect eurydice ever, and i feel like its unfair that some people dont really talk abt her eurydice bc she was so pure and protective

#while i do stand by that a lot of the changes made for broadway were good #epic iii's lyric changes and persephone's cut verse in chant ii will always astound me #“a man... in love with a woman” always pulls me out of the show #because... what? the rest of the show is filled sm beautiful imagery and political imagery #and “a man in love with a woman” is all we can come up with??????
