I also bear the responsibility of caring for my elderly parents. My father suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure and has been unable to receive regular treatment for a long time. My mother suffers from diabetic foot ulcers and painful sores that require urgent treatment. Every passing day worsens her condition, and we fear she may need amputation due to the lack of medical care.

I have a baby boy who is a year and a half old and needs milk, diapers, and daily care, and I am unable to provide for his basic needs. I also have two daughters in school, and I dream of them completing their education, but I cannot afford to buy them notebooks or school supplies.

There is no work, no source of income, and sometimes we are unable to provide food, flour, or clothing. My greatest wish today is to be able to provide a decent life for my children, a clean and safe place to protect us from the heat, exhaustion, and fear, and to secure treatment for my parents before their condition worsens.

I appeal to every compassionate person to look upon our suffering with kindness. Your help could feed a hungry child, heal a suffering patient, or restore hope to a family worn down by war. We ask for nothing more than a chance to live with dignity and hold onto what little hope we have left.
