There are two major Women's matches tonight that I am Excited for on Collision, and I winced my way through every minute of the Kamille vs Statlander match on Fright Night which I should have been hyped AF for along with a lot of the other ones lately, and I'm realizing it's 100% that Daddy Magic, Excalibur, and Tony Shiavone do NOT know how to commentate on Women's matches.

How many times do we see children have to step up and be the hero in a story while the adults stand by praising their bravery and sacrifice, doing nothing to help them? How many trusted, respected adults don't step in to help shoulder the burden left to the youngest? But not this time. Orange is tired (emotionally and physically) and the task ahead is a heavy one. But he looked around at the young people standing up to dangerous people with much more power and did the only thing he could've possibly done.

He put himself directly in the line of fire because he understood that even though he didn't ask for it, maybe doesn't want it, these kids need a leader right now to make sure they don't get hurt and there's nobody else around who is willing to step up so it has to be him. Even if he doesn't think he's the guy for the job, he steps up anyway because what other choice does he have? Leave the most promising young talent to go up against combined decades of experience to get chewed up and spit out while he watches on and shrugs? Pretend he doesn't care? Maybe some people can do that, but underneath his laid back demeanor Orange Cassidy cares too much for that to be an option. Someone needs to guide these people, provide the experience and knowledge they lack so they stand a fighting chance.
