For this year, I designed N’s outfit with Zekrom in mind for the theme “Divine Whispers.” N is associated with the two legendary Pokémon in gen 5 and this very true in manga except he is paired up with zekrom.

I decided to use the electric typing of Zekrom as my main inspiration for what I designed. With electric types, I always think of rockstars/the guitarist trainer class. So, I designed an outfit with a rockstar inspiration while having elements from Zekrom’s incorporated in it, such as the color scheme. I have also chosen the rockstar theme in mind since Unova has so much artistic and performing arts culture within it, like the musicals, Pokéstar studios, and many gym leaders' jobs being very artistic. Many of the performing arts in Unova involve trainers bonding with the pokemon of the region, which fits with N’s goal of helping people understand their pokemon.
