I made a little diagram about something that I think is very important but have never seen discussed, which is how to properly leave a store

I find this is extremely important when you know you are going to beep, think you might beep, or have a feeling they are onto you. If you were never even seen leaving there is no way for them to stop you. I find this works best in mall stores which tend to have the big open exits with displays near them but the concept can be applied to any store.

If anyone is confused or needs further explaining I’d be happy to answer questions :)

Hey guys!! I wanted to show u my scarf method that got me $1,000+ worth of Dior makeup plus other things! I know for a fact I got this idea from another video on here but I can’t find it lmao :,(

So obviously I’m wearing the scarf super basic it’s not tied or anything. The next thing u need is a bag. I like to use any paper bag a store will give u. Like the ones at 🎯 lush or in this case h&m. I hope the video is pretty self explanatory. Just hold the bag in your hands, not by your side, but like in front of you near your stomach. Put one side of the scarf over where your hand/arm is holding the bag. If you really wanted to go for really big items, you could have both sides of the scarf in front of the bag covering your arms/hands, but for smaller things I like just one side because it looks less weird. I say “smaller” but you can see in the video that I managed to conceal a pretty long full size Anastasia palette with ease. Next, you need to grab the product that you want to conceal. In this video I just used makeup, but I bet you can use it with bigger things too like maybe a candle or stuffed animal. You can see that in the video I have clothes inside the bag already. Whatever you drop in will make noise so try to have clothes in there if you can to cushion the fall. When I used this method at the mall I had about $30 to actually spend on clothes and a bag. The actual dropping of the item into the bag is a little bit hard to explain. I like to use my non-dominant hand to take the product. I have the bag in my dominant hand, which means the scarf will be covering my dominant hand. Idk you can use whatever you want, but this just works best for me. I take a product from the shelf with my non-dominant hand and kind of hold it there for a second then when I’m sure nobody’s looking I slide my hand underneath the scarf and use the same non-dominant hand to drop it into the bag. It was kind of hard to see with the scarf on/in the way, which is the point LMAO so I showed you the exact same thing without the scarf in the way. You can see even from the side it’s pretty hard to see. Also try to use your body to create a blind spot in the back. You can see in the video im wearing long sleeves. I prefer to do this so that it’s even harder for people to tell what you have in your hands. If you’re worried about the noise it makes I’ve personally never had a problem with it in most stores. There’s usually music and it’s turned up pretty loud but your mind subconsciously drowns it out. I also went on a weekend so it was busy, therefore there were more people talking and more noise. Like I said I also used this scarf method with the biggest size lush bag. If you’ve ever seen it, you know how big it is LMAO

Your best friend will be the way to conceal the item, even if it isnt in your pockets or bag yet!

Granted, my number 1 strat is using sleeves but not just any type, specifically ones I get from modified pants! The flowy wide legged kind that is, since they tend to be longer than my legs, they consume my arms fully when I have them resting down. I'll walk around with an item and then slowly put my hand down and poof!

Or alternatively, if we were in say, a B47h & b0dYw¤rks, there's this little trick I like to use to make it look like nothing was taken in the first place (sorta)

Of course this may work better with those with larger hands than mine but the trick is holding the item with your pinkie and ring to your palm, while grabbing the next item with your other fingers to move it forward. Id recommend practicing! And the sleeves make a good cover from any of it happening from the sides.

Of course this is what I do consistently during the busiest times of a mall and may not be for everyone! But keep in mind that most people are more fixated on themselves or what theyre looking at and may even make a good shield at times even unintentionally. Have fun and be careful as always! ☆

what you need:

technique 1: a baggy jacket/jumper which has form, but fluidity and has long baggy arms so that you cant tell anything is hiding in them.

OR

technique 2: long cloaky shawl that droops down.

you will need a good tote/handbag as well (with padding if u can) for the goods

technique 1: (jacket)

lets say your going for a mascara/mini dry shampoo, the easiest way to do this is to pick it up from the stand, give it a look and then pretend to put it back in the stand. when you do this, quickly sleave it through underneath your hand, through your palm and down your wrist. practice at home first. its good to make the other products jingle so it sounds like you put it back. this works for a great majority of stuff, small to large. however it can be quite limiting cause it can get quite noticable in your sleeve if the products are big or shaped weirdly.

technique 2: (shawl)

harder to master, better for big stuff. lets say your going for a pencilcase. near the pencil case is a box of biros, pick it up, give it a look then put it back. when your hand goes back, your shawl should cover your hand then when you go back, pick up the pencilcade underneath the shawl and hold it underneath concealer your shawle until you find a good place to put it in your bag. its good to kneal pretending to look an item then with your other hand slip it in. it can be hard and you have to do it one at a time but theres no risk of it falling out of your sleeve, unless you drop it!

so. the lining separates from the purse itself. i wonder how this can come in handy.

and hiding items inside the hole so it lays inbetween the purse’s shell material and the lining! good for concealing items and magnets, and if anybody checks the inside of your purse, well its empty! nothing there….

COMMON BLINDSPOTS/ NO GO ZONES

this is a map of a target, however it was mostly used just so show the titles as a visual.

Red dots - No-Go zones, commonly heavily supervised, almost always cameras and is usually being watched. Green dots - Common blind spots, I think we all know what a blind spot is

No go zones - BEAUTY!!!! - jewelry - women’s - electronics - registers, please never conceal here it so stupid! Not only are there tons of cashiers watching, but they are heavily monitored with cams. - grocery (cropped oops) - pharmacy (also cropped oops)

Common blind spots - bedding/bath/kids rooms - pet care - cards & party - luggage - toys and games - baby - Windows/rugs (basically all home decor) - didn’t put a dot but cleaning supplies, especially like tissue, toilet paper, & paper towel sections

While this is a good guide, always double check for cams. This is just kinda to guide you to common blind spots to CHECK before you conceal. As all tips, take it with a grain of salt.

Seriously LOVING the pamphlet method! My wlagreens has a basket of coupon advertisement pamphlets in the beauty section it’s such a gift. Tbh I didn’t even conceal the pamphlets bs there’s no reason to. I got 4 face masks and a lip balm using this just now.

I have a post on the pamphlet method that I posted pretty recently. I actually came up with it my self! Basically you get a pamphlet that they usually have In Most stores have them either on a new line of products or a store credit cards. This can also work with magazine! So basically you just walk around with the pamphlet open like you’re reading it and pick up the item you want (better for thinner items) and put it on the pamphlet and just close it! You don’t even have to conceal it but it won’t look strange if you just pop it in your bag!
