pre-orders for the x-men zine for charity open up first week of march!

i worked in this zine along with many cool artists, writers and a great mod team!!!

for my part, i decided to make a full illustration that proved to be challenging, but i think the end result came out well! just to tease a lil, it involves Nightcrawler with a gothic catholic theme and deep red colours 👀

we tried to make it as good as possible for a variety of x-men fans, and the attention to detail is impressive! everyone involved is super passionate about x-men and the mission of the zine itself, so consider checking it out bc it's definitely worth it ❤️🤧

Charity Selection

With the contribution window closed and formatting beginning for the 'zine, we'd like to open it up to the community to decide what charity to which they'd like the proceeds of the 'zine to go. As chosen by the moderators and 'zine contributors, the list of possible charities can be found here with a brief description of each charity as well as their website; and the poll to choose your top three charities can be found here.

Q: How long will the poll remain open?

We'll likely keep it open for about a week but probably more depending on how long the formatting period takes as well as the set-up for pre-orders. But before we start pre-orders, we will announce the charity!

Q: What portion of the proceeds will go to charity?

We will be conducting pre-orders to determine how many of each item needs to be manufactured. After the cost of production for the physical 'zine copies and associated merch (i.e., stickers, prints, pins, plushie, and cards) as well as cost for the contributors' physical copies of the 'zine, all profit will be donated to charity. Once pre-orders are complete and production costs are finalized, we will be completely transparent with the funds to donate.
