I woke up this morning with a restless feeling inside me. Not the boredom restlessness that I succumb to during the month of school, but a restless need for adventure that hasn't stumbled into my life for quite sometime. I just need a chance to live on the edge again. Get away from parents who can't seem to grasp the idea that I'm an adult now. I've been happily living in my very own love story with my very own prince charming. But I want an adventure with another love of my life. The best friend love of my life who I've shared more adventures with than any other.

I thought back to the first time i sat next to him. How he teased me for not having gages and banging my head into the wall. How he looked at me with a smile reaching up too his eyes, that now makes me smile bigger than I've ever done before. Sitting next to him then, i didn't know id be sitting next to him now, but its the place meant for me.

Of tears streaming down but soon drowned out with laughter. Of smiles so big they crack at the corners. Of hugs squeezing hard enough to break ribs. Here's to one year of love, so true its changed us forever.
