Another reminder that pre-orders for @cryptidszine close on July 20th!!

hello fellow cryptid supporters! we apologize for the silence on our end the past couple weeks. after some long debates, we’ve decided to push back opening preorders to June 20th, 2019. we want this zine to be worth all the support you’ve given us and all the work our team has poured into it! as an apology for delaying sales, we’ll be hosting a fun event for you all so keep your eyes out for a post about it going up soon! thank you for being patient with us.

we’d also like to give another BIG thank you to our Ko-fi donors! we’re over 75% of our initial donation goal and it’s amazing to know you’re as excited about this zine as we are. if you haven’t gotten the chance yet, please check out our Ko-fi page and consider dropping us a dollar or more! it helps us with initial costs and keeping the prices down for you. don’t forget that tier donors will receive free, exclusive prints by our talented illustrators as well~

CRYPTIDS ZINE: ILLUSTRATION CONTEST

while our contributors are hard at work and you’re holding your breath in anticipation of the Cryptids Zine, we’re hosting an open-to-all illustration contest! we invite you to submit an illustration of a cryptid of your choice, to be considered by our organizers. one winner will receive a free physical copy of the zine. submissions will be open from March 20, 2019 to April 5, 2019. the winner will be contacted and announced on April 8th, 2019.

GUIDELINES + must be all original work (no fanart) + no sexual content + 1 entry per 1 illustrator

From a selection of 139 talented applicants, our team of 27 contributors has emerged and will be working together to bring you a collection of original and reimagined cryptids! TIME MANAGEMENT STUFF / TERM 7 

I’ve got a lot of questions about this during my Art Center time, so I drew it ! This system came from when I had to manage my time during art high school (8am-5pm everyday) with 2 waitress jobs. Everybody has different working method, but I will be more than happy if anyone gets new idea from it !
