Megamoth vs. Tumblr

The first three pages of “The Rise and Fall of Ryo Asuka,” which was only available in my “Sympathy for the Devil” printed zine, until now.

Okay, as editors for this anthology Kat, Phil, and I split up the stories and we each edited a handful. So, I want to take a minute to talk about a story from what I'm affectionately calling "Team Jeremy"

@megamoth and I have been friends for a long time. Emily is my podcast cohost, my cocreator on Princeless, and somebody I regularly text whenever anything A24 is happening in real life. So I was well aware of her obsession with X-Files.

When we started taking submissions, she asked me if she should write up this idea that she had about how X-Files helped her realized or understand that she was ace. I, of course, said hell yeah. I knew it would be great, but I can't say enough about how good it actually is.

X-Files was never my drug of choice, but Emily's story about how two characters different genders could have an intimate relationship which was based on friendship and the drive to understand definitely illustrates to me what is is that she and lots of others saw in the show.
