Hi There!

Rewatching the series has got me thinking about Jay again, and how he gets affected differently by the operator than most of the other cast. (Incoming rant) I honestly think him not being in the ark as frequently as the others and blacking out less than the others during interactions with the operator(at least until later in the series) is intentional on the operators part. Jay being less affected, gives the other victims false hope. I believe Hoodie, after failing to kill Alex numerous times, and seeing how much closer Jay could get then he could; is genuinely convinced that Jay can kill Alex. He banks on the idea that Jay can kill Alex. I think that while Jay doesn't realize it, Hoodie would never kill Jay because Hoodie believes that he needs Jays help.

Because Hoodies main plan was to lure Jay into the proper position to kill Alex (a plan that backfired on so many levels), he obviously gets disoriented when Jay dies. Now his main plan is gone. Now he's in the middle of the storm without a lightning rod, a lightning rod that was probably just a stick covered in metallic paint.

Jay lasting as long as he did, in the state that he did, also allowed him to get close to Tim. Close enough that Tim has concern over his well being. Close enough that Tim holds onto the hope he can help Jay. Tim losing Jay also leaves him disoriented, disoriented and more reckless than he's been most of the series. It becomes easier to drag him into the line of fire.

they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!
