My Favorite Things: ~Luxurious~ Stuff

Nest Candles- Amazing! Included in the Sephora VIB sale.

Glassybabys- I love them and have too many. 

Good hand cream- Never enough. 

Mason Pearson Hairbrush- My aunt and uncle gave me one as a bday gift years ago. It isn’t something anyone would buy for themselves, because its a lot of money to spend on a brush, BUT that makes it the perfect gift. I truly appreciate mine every day. 

My Favorite Things: Cooking Edition

Creamer- My aunt bought me this little MC creamer last year for my birthday and I used it all through the holidays. I love how little it is, and it’s so nice to not get out the milk carton constantly when people are over. I also love this one. 

Salt Keeper- I bought this last year and love it. I would give it with this salt to anyone who loves to cook. 

Festive Apron and Dishtowels- I bought a green and red apron and dishtowels last year. You can use them again and again. Plus I feel that much more like Mrs. Claus (#goals) when I am aggressively making Christmas cookies. 

Emile Henry Bakeware- I reccomend IT ALL. I have an older pie dish with really big ruffles, but this one is very similar. I also have the loaf pan and larger baker. Emile Henry bakeware is beautiful, doesn’t scratch easily, and bakes beautifully. The loaf dish with a nice bread mix would be such a great gift!

Le Creuset Spatula Set- My mom gave me this set last year for Christmas and it is one of my favorite gifts. The spatula heads pull come off the wood part, so you can put them in the dishwasher. I keep this set next to my stand mixer (baking utensils only). If you only want to give one or two, I reccomend these LC ones. I have a couple of them, and they are sparkly. I give them all the time with cookbooks. Seen here. 

The Best Whisk- You need it. I am asking for the one that is silicone coated one so I can use it on my nonstick/enamel cookware. 

America’s Test Kitchen Cookbook- my favorite.

Dorie’s Cookies- Dorie Greenspan’s new book. I just started using and love it so far.

Some faves: 

Red Velvet Cupcakes: These are amazing. I didn’t use the dye, because gross. 

Spicy Garlic Salmon- Easy easy and delicious. I served with this coconut rice. 

I have been looking for a “keeper” vodka sauce recipe. This is it. It takes a while, but it is worth it. 

Republicans: mmhmmmm

Made Ina’s Italian Wedding Soup for dinner. So so good. Also made Zucchini bread.  I am so happy right now!

My wedding shoes came in. I love them. 

I am seeing girls on Saturday that I have known their whole lives, nannied, and are now my flower girl and junior bridesmaids. I am SO excited.

I have been watching this election so obsessively. WHO IS READY TO WATCH HILL OBLITERATE TRUMP IN TWO WEEKS??

After going home this weekend, I am staying in town for the fall. Dan is really busy with grad school, and I realize I just want to be here for a while. Plus work is crazy, and running around like crazy during the week and then leaving for the weekend is making me nuts. 

Has anyone purchased anything from Dana Rebecca? I was thinking about the tiny Joy necklace. 

I love Bar Method. So much. I swear I see a difference in my legs after just a few weeks.
