This is my little boy, Qais, only two years old, wounded and in pain. He was hurt while simply playing near our tent — his childhood stolen by a war he never chose. Every day is a fight to keep him alive, to find medicine, food, and clean water in Gaza, where survival feels like a miracle. Three Causes of His Injury and the Danger for Children:

It is with a broken heart that we have to share the worst news imaginable with the NGU community. This weekend, the IOF bombed the neighborhood of Yahya Al-Habil and his family. Little Omar, Yahya’s 7-year-old brother who we have mentioned often, was martyred.

Both Yahya and his brother Mohammed are being treated in different departments for the severe injuries they sustained from this attack, and did not get the chance to say goodbye to Omar. They now urgently need $5,000 usd to continue treatment and hopefully stabilize their critical conditions.

The Hashem family, like thousands of families in Gaza, lives a daily tragedy in order to feed their infant.

Today, obtaining a carton of baby formula has become a distant dream, its price having become unaffordable for families who have lost their homes and sources of income due to the siege and destruction.

Hashem, the grieving father, goes out every day in search of milk… roaming the streets and pharmacies, returning each time with empty hands and a heart heavy with helplessness.

In his home, a helpless mother weeps silently, and a child who will not stop crying from extreme hunger.

This is not a scene from a movie; it is the harsh reality of a besieged people, in a world from which milk has disappeared… and with it, compassion.
