originally, i actually had three separate ideas for how i wanted to approach the "trust" prompt (two of which involved basically redrawing kazuichi's fourth + fifth free time events) but ultimately i decided to keep it a bit simpler so i wouldn't end up drawing yet another comic. lmao 🙃👍🏼

I MEAN YEAH ITS A KILLING GAME BUT LIKE. UGH #'humans are creatures that betray each other you know' UGHHHHh #i love chapter 4. i hate chapter 4 i think abt it too much #kazuichi souda i will think abt u forever and ever <3 even if no one else will <3 #<- agree agree agree!!!#now if only canon didn't flanderize him and make him a creep to Sonia #I think everyone can agree that this series would be better if the writers didn't make forced fanservice/perverted moments #it just ruins genuinely interesting characters #kazuichi I love you but I really hate that canon butchers you 😭#that's what fanfics are for I guess #also I mourn the fact that his trust issues aren't delved into more in canon #there's so much potential there but you don't even know about them if you don't do his FTEs #and if you don't. in chapter 4 he just seems like he just stops trusting Hajime out of nowhere #that's kinda what bothers me about FTEs sometimes like. sometimes they're the only place where you see a character's true depth #and the main plot shows none of it!!! why don't they incorporate more character development into that!!!#like first playthrough I watched I genuinely had no idea about this interesting side to him and I was lowkey annoyed at him and the writing #baffling writing decisions and baffling localization decisions that exacerbate those issues plague danganronpa #anyway rant over sorry anybody reading this #I'll probably have more to say once I see Kazuichi's FTEs for myself
