There's a certain warmth in litterature, poetry, music, words in general that conforts me whenever I need it.
I think of books like diaries written by other people, in the sense that, in one way or another, every story, every book tells what I'm going through, and I always find in it the advice I need to receive.
I'm not really an introverted person, I'm actually quite sociable so I'm never alone. But I always always feel so lonely.
Books, art in general, is here to show me that other people went through what I am going through, that they lived the same thing, loved the same way, felt the same sadness and anger and joy and pain and it's so relieving.
People don't talk about their experience, so if not through books, how am I supposed to know that what I feel is normal, that it's every human's lot to feel lost, sad, and lonely at times, or joyful and confident? That it's normal to not always being able to name a feeling, or to feel too much, or not enough, that I am allowed to make mistakes and that if I do, the world will keep spinning and that I'll have other chances to do better, or to be better.
I'm so thankful for books and art to make me feel safe, confident and less lonely, everyone deserves that and I hope whoever reads this have something in their lives to make them feel this way.
Take care of yourself,
Love always <3
