Hey it's me again, just want to say I'm legit reading Fool Me Twice AGAIN, it's becoming a comfort read for me (which maybe says something about me but moving on....)

It's just so SPARE and simple and all the notes you hit are so CLEAN. You're incredible at the classic (but difficult!) showing and not telling. It's something you hardly ever see in fanfic, and I hope you write "real" fiction because I think you'd rock at it. :)

I would like to say that surprises me but it doesn’t.

I don’t know. On the one hand you can see that Leon and Connor are frustrated and tired of carrying the team and want a coach that isn’t going to bend to them (because they don’t always know best) and will push the other players that aren’t performing to either up their game or be okay with being traded. That’s an extremely limited view of what Babcock would bring to the team (and I don’t agree with it) but yeah. There’s also some conflict of interest there with Zach Hyman’s brother hiring Babcock’s kid to be an OHL coach. We don’t know if Zach’s been telling them that Babcock’s really not that bad or what.
