Zhang Yixing (Lay) - INFP 'Idealist'
Zhang Yixing is an idealist who is loyal and faithful to people who are important to him. He wants life to be based on his values. Lay understand people and help them make full use of their potential. He is adaptable, flexible, tolerant and also very romantic person who loves art and has a perfect imagination.
Introverted Feeling (Fi):
Yixing relies heavily on his emotions. He is sensitive and creative. He understands himself as well as the others. Even if it is not needed he try to help EXO members as much as possible.Â
He creates music and compose it. He also has a great need to understand and develop himself/his feeling. If something is going through, it is very deep. He puts all his heart into it without forgetting about his family and members (exo).
âI think being loyal is quite manly, and then protecting the people i want to protect is also very manly.â
 Also his fans are very important to him, he never forget about them, always mentioning that he love them. He accept letters from the fans and treat them as the greatest treasure. Yixing often sincerely demonstrates his emotions in interviews, concerts or fan meetings.
Values (principles) are very important to him.Â
"What is the craziest thing you have done? ZY: Donât think there is one, Iâm considered more of a rule-abiding person, maybe because of my personality, and also because Iâm in this profession, I will also restrain myself more.â
He want to be known, appreciated and seen as a true âYixingâ. His music is composed and arranged only by him (lyrics too).
Extroverted Intuition (Ne):
As mentioned before, Yixing creates his own music and is absorbed by it. Lay is often very excited when he talks about his dance or music. He is visionary and dreamer. He puts his whole self into creating new things. Working on them makes him happy. Yixing has many ideas, team members often say that they see him composing and creating new things. They canât stop him. He is passionate about what he does. During interviews he has a specific character of speech, (sometimes interviewer does not understand him) he has extensive associations, and uses metaphors.
Introverted Sensing (Si):
âWhat are you most afraid of? ZY: Afraid and also worried, about my family health, being separated from my loved ones in life or death, thereâs nothing greater than theseâ
Tradition, family, friends â all of this is very important to him. Yixing mentioned family holidays. (Lately he really wished he could meet them). These values are very important to him. He often cry out for his family.
Extroverted Thinking (Te):
As the last, weakest function - Te reveals he is very honest and speaks out loud about his plans for the future. Lay talks during interviews a lot. Heâs not afraid to express his thoughts.
