This is certainly a far cry from the Excalibur days, where Kurt would bundle himself up in all manner of ridiculous clothing to hide his true nature from onlookers. Today, the only ridiculous clothing Kurt is wearing is the kind he’d have been wont to wear anyway; he wears his fur and his tail out in the open, with pride, without being ashamed. “Hah! So it goes. I wonder what the rest of the joke is, and whether or not it will end with anyone unconscious. If it does, I hope it is not us."

"I'm pretty sure a tall guy with an accent wearing a skin tight Union Jack unitard walking in with a charismatic German Elf may be a joke on its own, punch line or not." He cracked a smile and patted his old friend on the back, being observant enough to hold the door open not only for Kurt, but for another young couple that had been walking behind them. "I don't know about that either. Things involving us usually end with a few people knocked out on the floor, or something like that. It's never in the good way either."

….Hey now, don’t try to guilt trip me. Not me, I know the ins and outs of that little gag. What we have isn’t special. It’s like, ten times more important like that. I don’t know, Math wasn’t my strong point.

Why didn’t you say? Brian! Shame on you, we could have caught up a bit! I would be happy to go to dinner with you if I wouldn’t be an imposition. I will have to ask Katzchen but I can’t imagine she’d turn down the opportunity.

Uh. Well, you know what they say, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Except it’s English this time. Anyway, I’d love to have you along, it won’t be any trouble at all. We’ve been busy putting in a skydeck for a few rabbits we’ve taken in. And that’s good to hear.
