There’s a lot of reasons why Carol’s anger is pretty justified but I think the fact that the hive killed her wife while she watched in agony and then showed up in her yard the next day and told her that actually the virus that killed her wife was the best thing to ever happen to humanity and her wife agreed with that as she was dying while Carol watched and desperately tried to bring her back. Like. Literally all of her behavior is pretty justified by just that one piece of reality.
