Tell me why it just occured to me that the reason Akaza and Douma dont get along is because Akaza is very much against eating anyone who isn't a man and Douma has shown a preference for eating women!!!! It makes Akaza think of his human past ajdgsjdja
I really do wish that Gotouge went more into detail about that because Akaza is the only demon that has been shown to be granted permission by muzan specifically not to eat women. Like did Akaza ask Muzan to not harm women? Akaza said he had lost his memory of his previous life, but it was obviously still subconsciously there (not only in his physical appearance but also in his fighting style. I'm really intrigued by this because Gotouge NEVER goes into how much a demon can change their appearance and how much it isn't affected. Some demons like Douma, Yushiro, Tamayo and Nezuko retain a human appearance, but Akaza and Kokushibo don't? Why would you want to stand out like that? Did Akaza CHOOSE to have pink hair? To have his markings? I have way too many thoughts about this.)
So I always wonder how much influence Muzan really had on the upper moons or just the demons he created in general. Why was Akaza special in the terms of having free will over who he decides to eat or kill?? We barely see a glimpse of Akaza and Muzans relationship and it's obvious that Muzan expects better from Akaza but doesn't seem to have the same relationship with Douma? At least it's not explicitly stated.
