i'm on a mission to collect/try one of each tea type
my favourite teas SO FAR are Matcha, white tea and jasmine
My go-to bubble tea order is Matcha milk tea with tapioca pearls
matcha was the first tea i tried (because i was obsessed with 'Twisted Wonderland' at the time and the green looked like the Diasomnia colours)
My favourite colour is a tie between crimson red and neon green, but never together!
My favourite band is HEALTH
I run a 'Cyberpunk: RED' campaign with my friends set as a prequel to my webcomic. Its very fun i might write a summary of that one day.

a few years back I did a watercolour of Alruna and it's been up on my walls for AGESSSSS bc its really cool
so i decided to redraw it as a digital!!!!
and also update the outfit lmao
usually i dont like putting artworks next to eachother but it really shows the difference in not only alruna's design, but in my art abilities
for context, i made the original watercolours like 3 years ago now???
at that point she was still gonna be a bardlock i think, n so her design was still a bit on the performer side,
but then i thought it would be fun if she went full warlock bullshit, and so slowly (AND I MEAN SLOWLY) it changed into being more practical
...and then i got a cloak of stars last session but anyways-
as for my own art, idk im really bad at this-
it's def gotten a bit cleaner. would that be the right word??? idk. but its not as round.
idk i think theyre both good and work within the context of what i wanted to do with alruna at the time :::)

SPECIFICALLY
one of the main kinda like. running threads of my chronicle is that that the veil is getting like. suuuuuper thin. to a worrying level. and its not just one spot its like MOST OF SYDNEY
so in the BG, there's been a bunch of lasombra tasked with fixing this alongside Lucien- bc he's the high regent of sydney
thing is though, the lasombra have obtenebration and not necromancy so it isnt working.
lucien knows necromancy tho!!! so he's doing all the work in the group project- oh wait no that's failing too. oh. oh no.
"matcha where's the hecata" doing other stuff and if anything making the problem worse.
so yeah this is lucien trying (and failing) to fix the problem but he looks cool doing it so i think it's worth drawing!!!

but for some reason I decided to make it a watercolour project. Whateber it gave me smth to do and itβs cool as fuck!!!
Anyways I kinda wanna break it down- and talk about my baby-
Her favourite flower is the sunflower (human amaranth also had a sunflower-themed colour scheme) but theres also an amaranth flower because ya kinda have to right-
Free space 1- her dagger, because blood is something sheβs around quite often
Object 1- her custom injector ring. Used to paralyse a vampire. Or poison a bitch. Idk man it depends on what she chooses to do.
Eye!!
Hair!!! Specifically her two really long braids. Also bc I think itβs a fun fact, the red back part of her hair was originally shorter, but was elongated for the purposes of silhouettes. Also the braid looks like a scorpion tail.
Animal- speaking of scorpions!!! Amaranthβs design is partially based on scorpions, so I think they work as a representative animal
Object 2- a purple jade bangle given to her by Lucien.
Outfit- itβs not her common outfit, but itβs an outfit that I count interesting ang geta the idea of how she dresses across, the general idea is that itβs based in EGL fashion, bc it makes her look like an older kindred while still actually being modern. Her clothes lie as much as she does
Fave colour- technically the same colour as a sunflower, but amaranth also likes the yellow of old book page
Free space 2- a heart! Bc smth smth she still has a heart under the serious exterior. Sheβs just a very good liar to both herself and others.

Flower- purple hyacinth, since it represents remorse and sorrow which is definitely something he has considering he knows heβs going to die soon.
Free space 1- I like to link an effect to a power, and Necromancy gets a smoke-type pattern!!
Object 1- skull bc dead stuff is his shit. Such is originally being a Giovanni I guess
Eye!!! Not only do disciplines have an effect; but clans get a colour (GENERALLY.) and the real ring you can see in luciβs eyes is a connection to him being Giovanni. (See Enzoβs design.)
Hair!!!!! His roots are forever bad
Representative animal: a lilac-breasted roller. I think. As for why I chose them, I believe??? They prey on scorpions?? Lucien obv isnβt going to hurt amaranth, luci has standards, but heβll definitely manipulate amaranth into being his perfect successor!!
Clan- I skipped this on amaranth bc sheβs ACTUALLY A TREMERE. But Lucienβs a mess. He was originally a Giovanni (specifically embraced by his father) who was given the re-embrace, and now pretends to be a Tremere and did it SO WELL HEβS NOW JOHN TREMERE IN SYDNEY.
Outfit- a more casual outfit for him. I think he wears cozy cardigans and tangzhuang suits a lot. Heβs also ALWAYS wearing hella purple jade because he binds demons to it :3
Colour- the colour of his jade jewellery, fun matcha fact: I have been checking the jade stores to find a purple bangle that fits me PURELY because I wanna have some jewellery that reminds me of lucien (I do this with all my characters lmao)
Free space: the lucky knot on his necklace bc I thought it was pretty
Lyrics- theyβre taken from Leonard Cohenβs βavalancheβ! I first listened to the ghost cover (recommended by a friend) but the original also works really well for lucien, especially since they both bring a different interpretation to the table. The ghost version is a metal cover, and poses the βit is your flesh that I wearβ as almost a threat or a challenge. Like a βI will play your games, but I will win and destroy youβ kinda thing. Meanwhile the original is -to me- much more pensive????? Iβm really bad at song analysis lmao and I have never listened to another Leonard cohen song I used it here bc itβs in Lucienβs character playlist but like. It fits with lucien bc heβs being forced to play vampire politics and mislead everyone so that his schemes can come to fruition, but heβs not really gonna be there to see his plans truly finished, since he has to die.
Mmmm I feel like I should explain his planβ¦. To summarise Iβm using bits and pieces of demon the fallen, n his plan is to bring all the demons out of the abyss so they can remake everything, n hopefully remove the vampiric curse. Luci has hella lore and reasoning but thatβs something for another day. Maybe.
Surely luci has some necromancy bullshit ready to bring him back Q_Q I love my baby too much to kill him off

my next VTM session is in a few weeks and so I wanna do some doodles of stuff I think would be really cool to visualise before the session happens!!
i say this as if im not the ST and can't just make it happen. but i also just like having little ideas of character interactions that may happen
like i have this one for val and amaranth~~~ and they're up in this student-only area of USYD and there's like some HELLA LORE REVEALS THERE

he's naturally left-handed, but his left hand is now burnt really badly and so there's not much dexterity left
(technically there should be none)
