But Aria stood out for the fact that he couldn't properly tell whether she intended to pull the trigger or not. He could see each possible scenario playing out just behind her pupils like a screen, the infinite possibilities of one twitch of her finger, and exactly where she stood to benefit the most. Shepard's hand was on her sidearm. Her eyebrows looked like two checkmarks arched high. Jaw clenched, she nodded once at him. Your call.
