lifechanging stuff y’all

i've spent the last day stuck to my phone reading the accounts of people who were able to hold onto trees and lightposts and saw corpses float around them when the flood came. People who got trapped in garages when they tried to get their cars and died. People who stayed in safe places and listened to the screams of those who were not until the water swallowed them. people who have had to live with the corpses of their loved ones until they got rescued from their houses. the corpses are contaminating the water and they don't stop coming. it's terrible.
