okay so !! i watched the eras tour movie last night and i love taylor swift as a musician in a very normal way but i think i get why people don’t like her now. she’s not a performer, her show is very theatrical ( which i loved, tolerate it it’s my favorite part of it ), the dancing is very easy to follow, she’s just a woman with a guitar and if no one else, taylor seems to have a lot of fun in her shows. which is very beautiful to me as someone who has a lot of perfomance anxiety. taylor is a songwriter first, she’s a poet !! and that’s why when people compare her to beyoncé or adelle i’m kinda confused ?? like she’s not trying to be them.

when life starts to sound like maybe i should settle for being desired because no one will ever love me, maybe i should get used to the fact i was put in this earth for friendship and art and nothing else. when it’s starts being like maybe i should stop being such stupid hopeful girl and maybe i should face the fact that i am somehow deeply unlucky in love and maybe god is punishing me for wanting it too much. maybe that’s my dramatic irony, born to love and be loved and forced to settle for being lusted after. never fully experiencing romance because that’s not what i was put in this earth for. that’s what a good author does right ? it doesn’t give a character what they want. maybe i’ll be one of those people who will never be loved.

hi hm friendly reminder that the average jewish person outside of israel has the same amount of guilt and responsibility for the genocide as you or me ( assuming you’re not jewish ) and until said otherwise by them you shouldn’t assume they support israel’s atrocities. and we should be able to hold space for fact that jewish people are historically persecuted AND that Israel is weaponizing that history to deflect criticism and accusations while conducting a massacre.
