cis lesbian ★ white ★ 🇺🇸 i treat this blog like a general "about sports" hub, but right now the sport i follow the closest is formula 1 (against my better judgement). my favorite drivers are lewis hamilton and oscar piastri, in that order. my opinions on all the other drivers can be found in my tier list, but here are two very important things to jot down, I fucking HATE max verstappen and I HATE redbull. if you follow me expect to see unprovoked hater sessions i dont give a fuck. i also dont like norris all that much but that's a much pettier beef than i have with mv & redbull as a whole. besides f1 i am trying to get into tennis specifically the wta but nooo promises on how that will work out. i think rpf is okay 👍. i am kind of insane in the head. you will have to deal with the whiplash i regularly put out onto this blog. oh also the caps in my name is a reference to the washington capitals but i dont really talk about hockey on this blog. HEART! look upon my driver tierlist and weep ↓

and here's the pretentious serious paragraph: i come to sports fandom with the intrinsic understanding that professional sports by and large are infected with exploitation and discrimination of all stripes, and that nobody who spends all their waking hours invested in that industry can be completely unaffected. at some point constantly pointing out the problematic aspects of professional sports, especially in a fandom setting on a platform that doesn't have any effect on these institutions, can do more harm to your own psyche than good. that being said i also dont find it advisable to ignore these events. i'm usually going to advocate for a "middle of the road" approach to criticism. if this whole paragraph is confusing i was more specific in this post where i talk about being a critical fan of f1. wow that was such a self obsessed thing to write what am i a fucking academic. im a goddamn sports rpf blogger. alright typing's over look at my images girl.
