sam's initial swift and absolute no to celebrating christmas in 3x08 always annoys me. like i would think it would be at the absolute forefront of his mind that this is potentially going to be dean's last ever christmas. last ever anything. like sure i get sam might be in denial or holding out hope on finding a way to save dean but like??? dean says he wants to celebrate christmas! sam being stubborn abt not wanting to be his memories of past christmases aren't great is, well, pretty selfish. of course he changes his tune abt it later but the stubborn little, "No! Just… no" is so petulant and annoying lol
