I am as excited to possibly see Luz and Amity becoming a couple. It is looking very likely from the trailer for season 1B that we just got as well as the evidence from previous episodes. Disney needs this kind of representation with a main character. Not just side characters or background characters but an LGBT couple that has the main character be LGBT in some fashion.

But what I hope people don’t forget is that while who Amity is attracted to is ambiguous for the moment, Luz is pretty much all but stated to be bisexual.

She was very clearly attracted to the hot warrior Nevareth, ogling him and being very happy when he took off his shirt to give to her as a cloak. Granted it was all revealed to be a lie when he was just a part of that creepy monster at the end but still.

She was also blushing when Amity’s older brother was winking at her in a flirty manner.

Granted she also got flustered when Amity’s older sister called her cutie but it was shown she did get flustered around both of Amity’s siblings and she wants to get close to Amity as well.

Actually now that I’m thinking about it, all of the people that Luz has been attracted to so far have had green hair.

 Even Nevareth has dark green hair if you look close enough. Maybe Luz finds green hair attractive? 

Regardless, if and when Luz and Amity become a couple (and it’s pretty much a waiting game at this point) and you all enjoy shipping them together, don’t forget that Luz is bisexual. She is attracted to both boys and girls.

It’s not because Star only dated guys that she is less Bi than Luz. They both showed signs of being attracted for boys and girls. The only difference is that Star ended up in other-sex relationship and Luz (at least I hope so) will end up with a same-sex relationship.

For society, we are only bi if we are out of a relationship.
