Trying to settle in and make friends, you are suddenly introduced to Her. A super cool and popular local who you have an instant connection with! The chemistry is palpable!! Your relationship moves really fast in a really short amount of time!! For one reason or another, she doesn’t want to officially be with you right now (or ever), but that’s okay! You’re still friends! You think you’re still friends. I mean, there’s friction. Actually, maybe you messed this whole thing up. (Max talking about how stressed Amanda was in their relationship when she remembered Max had the rewind ability/ Rachel hiding more and more things from Chloe until Chloe barely knew her anymore.) Unfortunately, Life came in the way and things didn’t work out. Even more unfortunately, you know that even if things haven’t gotten complicated there, it probably still wouldn’t have worked out. At the end of the day, you’re two very different people who are headed in two very different directions, which is unfortunate, but don’t mean that you care about one another any less.
