It's usually the injured/hurt party who blocks. It's clearly not an amicable split either way. Even a 'want to be single to focus on my career' kind of break up warrants blocking everyone in her circle. The break up instigator is less bothered x

Something bad surely went down, or words said that they couldn't come back from amicably. My guess is that he was completely blindsided from it. It's been a few weeks since he liked something - maybe she needed 'break' (her schedule has been crazy), hence the delayed blocking, and he didn't know what was happening. But she decided she was done. I mean, I dont think anyone else was involved, etc. Regardless, hope they are both OK.
