Ahhhh I can’t wait for this! 😍 A Christmas carol is my favourite Christmas story, I’ve grew up with it since seeing the 2001 version in the cinema with my school then buying the VHS (though I admit rewatching it as an adult it was a very poor adaptation but I love Kate Winslet’s never let you go song), I’ve seen one of Gerald Dickens (Charles Dickens’s great, great grandson) preform his one man Christmas carol show, last year I got to see a play adaptation in St George’s hall and it’s a big thing in my family to all watch the 1951 Alastair version every year- and I got to watch that in St George’s hall last year too 😁 So anyway yes a huge fan here, my personal favourites are Scrooge 1951, The Muppet Christmas carol, The 2009 Disney version with Jim Carey (vastly underrated imo!), Barbie in a Christmas carol (of course cause it’s me) and the Disney short animation with Scrooge Mcduck 🥰 From the trailer I love the cast and the effects, he seems to be going for a more comedic role but it looks like it fits. I can’t wait to go see it on the big screen 😍
