In the sixth episode of season 11 (Bombshells) of MASH, Hawkeye (Alan Alda) and Winchester (David Ogden Stiers) started a rumor that Marilyn Monroe was visiting the 4077th.
While Marilyn didn't appear in that episode, she did visit soldiers during the Korean War in 1954.
Supernatural S01E22 Devil’s Trap
Everything comes to a head in the season finale. In an effort to save John Winchester, Sam and Dean enlist the help of an old family friend. Fellow hunter Bobby Singer joins the fight, and the team goes up against Meg and the yellow-eyed demon.
This was intended as Jim Beaver’s only appearance as Bobby Singer. However, he became such a hit with SPN fans that he was brought back as a recurring character.

Originally, this was the first episode to feature Kansas’ Carry On My Wayward Son during the recap. However, digital versions of the episode play Calling by Soberskin during the recap. Other than the series finale, this is the only episode to play Carry On My Wayward Son in the episode.

Supernatural S01E20 – Dead Man’s Blood
The show goes deeper into the lore in this episode as John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) joins his boys on a hunt. They’re searching for justice as they hunt the killer of John’s friend, a vampire hunter. This is one of the few episodes to feature vampires as the primary villains, and the episode introduces the demon-killing Colt pistol.

Years ago, Dean and John Winchester left a case unfinished when it became more important to save Sam’s life. Now, Dean has the chance to set things right. This is the first episode to show flashbacks of young Dean (Ridge Canipe) and young Sam (Alex Ferris).
The monster of the week in this episode is a shtriga. IMDb states that the character is based on the Striga in 2019’s The Witcher even though Supernatural aired first. In fact, both fictional characters are based on the Strega, traditional Italian witches.
