Supernatural S02E02 – Everybody Loves a Clown
The hunt for old yellow eyes takes a back seat as Sam and Dean look for an old friend of their father, Ellen (Samantha Ferris). The episode introduces a group of hunters that includes Ellen, her daughter Jo (Alona Tal), and Ash (Chad Lindberg). The Winchesters regroup at Ellen’s roadhouse bar.
The episode also leads them to investigate a demonic clown. The story takes a deeper look at Jared Padalecki’s character, who suffers from intense coulrophobia (fear of clowns).

Here's a recipe for a happier Friday!
The Blackout:
¾ oz lime juice
¾ oz simple syrup
1½ oz gin
1½ oz blackberry brandy
In a cocktail shaker with ice, add gin, blackberry brandy, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice, and garnish with fresh blackberries or a slice of lime(optional).

Supernatural S02E01 – In My Time of Dying
Following the season 1 finale, the Winchesters end up in the hospital. While Sam’s injuries are less severe, Dean is left comatose with a reaper closing in on him. In order to save Dean, John Winchester makes a deal that comes with a very high price.

Supernatural S01E22 Devil’s Trap
Everything comes to a head in the season finale. In an effort to save John Winchester, Sam and Dean enlist the help of an old family friend. Fellow hunter Bobby Singer joins the fight, and the team goes up against Meg and the yellow-eyed demon.
This was intended as Jim Beaver’s only appearance as Bobby Singer. However, he became such a hit with SPN fans that he was brought back as a recurring character.

Supernatural S01E21 – Salvation
When Meg (Nicki Aycox) starts killing off John Winchester’s friends in a search for the Colt, the Winchesters try to anticipate her next move. John, Sam, and Dean stake out a family with a gifted infant.
Originally, this was the first episode to feature Kansas’ Carry On My Wayward Son during the recap. However, digital versions of the episode play Calling by Soberskin during the recap. Other than the series finale, this is the only episode to play Carry On My Wayward Son in the episode.

Supernatural S01E20 – Dead Man’s Blood
The show goes deeper into the lore in this episode as John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) joins his boys on a hunt. They’re searching for justice as they hunt the killer of John’s friend, a vampire hunter. This is one of the few episodes to feature vampires as the primary villains, and the episode introduces the demon-killing Colt pistol.
