Oysters make pearls so they can feel better. When a grain of sand or debris gets stuck in their bodies, they ease the pain and irritation by coating it with multiple layers of nacre, the mineral that lines the inside of their shells, and pearl begins to form. Basically, pearls are like blisters, only much prettier. Source

Inspirational Story
Once upon a time, two young boys were playing on thin ice. As they were playing, one of them fell through that ice into the lake underneath. The other one tried hard and he couldn't reach his friend through that gap. So he walked up to a tree, pulled and broke a branch of enormous size. He came back and started beating the ice and he saved his friend. When the paramedics came and they were able to revive the kid, they were baffled and they couldn't understand that how did his friend break an enormous sized branch and then beat the ice and save his friend. They thought it was IMPOSSIBLE

This photo of Raja Ram Jang Bahadur Singh, 58th Raja of Bajhang was taken in Mumla, Bajhang, in May 1971 by Tim Maker. This was the occasion of his return to Bajhang after years of exile in India as a result of a pardon from the King of Nepal. He was active in the expatriated Nepal Congress party. In the early 1960s his son, Om Jang Bahadur Singh was part of an armed insurrection that was planned to sweep into Nepal from India, all across the southern border. As it happened, only the western Nepal group, led by Om Jang, actually entered Nepal. They were hunted down by the Nepal army and cornered in the high mountains between Darchula and Bajhang, where Om Jang was killed. After he returned from exile, Ram Jang had no home in Bajhang and lived mostly in Kathmandu. He reconciled with the reigning Shah family and his nephew, Deepak Jang, the 60th Raja of Bajhang, married a daughter of King Mahendra.

Football player ends civil war
Yes, you read it right. Didier Drogba, a Chelsea forward, who used to play for Galatasaray and is the team captain and star striker for the Ivory Coast national football team, ended Ivory Coast's civil war. For five years (2002-2007) in the Ivory Coast, the northern region was held by the rebels and the southern was held by the government loyals. Drogba pleaded the warring factions to have a cease-fire. Surprisingly, they heard him and a cease-fire was enacted. Drogba suggested in an interview that the game against Madagascar be played in Bouake, the rebel-north’s capital city. The game brought the whole country together for the first time in five years. Government military were invited to the game to help maintain control during and after the soccer match. It was the first time in five years that they’d been in the north without any violence and fighting involved. After the game, the rebellion army and the government military worked together to control the crowd. The Ivorian Elephants beat Madagascar 5-0. However, he did manage to describe his emotions after the ceasefire agreement. "I have won many trophies in my time," he explained, "but nothing will ever top helping win the battle for peace in my country. I am so proud because today in the Ivory Coast we do not need a piece of silverware to celebrate."
