Looking for the light as the days grow darker. @annsy5’s church has a lovely Swedish advent service, and while I identify as an atheist, it was such a nice thing to take part in. Beautiful music, messages of gratitude and compassion, the homily a reminder that refugees should be welcomed, not gassed at our borders. The evening’s offerings were given to an organization that supports young people experiencing homelessness.
