So we’re getting AFTG audiobooks…
I’m so excited! I’ve been wanting to reread these but I’ve also been super lazy.

If you liked Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia, try Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
They both include:
Artistic characters
Life in online fandom
The perils of being internet famous
Goodreads: Eliza and Her Monsters | Radio Silence
More of my recommendations
I just finished Eliza and her Monsters and I loved it! I think I’ll take this advice and try Radio Silence next. I love podcasts and I know Kayla loved it. Plus I think I already own the ebook.
“You, new girl,” she had said. “Angela tells me you were a mermaid. Is that so?”
Cora had sputtered and stammered and somehow signaled her agreement. Nadya had smirked and taken Cora’s arm in hers.
“Good,” she’d said. “I’ve been ordered to make more friends, and you seem to fit the bill. We damp girls have to stick together.”
Please love yourself and read Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire and read about mermaids and drowned girls being best friends.

Beat the Backlist
For my 2018 reading challenge I’m going to participate in Beat the Backlist! My list of unread, purchased books is completely out of control and I need to do something about it. Earlier this year I made a spreadsheet of all my unread books of all varieties (physical, GN, ebook, and audiobook) and at that time I had 126 unread books. I don’t think I knocked too many off that list and I know for a fact I’ve added to it substantially.
I think the first book I want to try and tackle is In the Woods by Tana French. I have the first two books thanks to some local used books sales and I’ve heard great things about the series. It’s not my typical genre but I’m hoping something different will help pull me out of my reading slump!

i renamed myself ari. if i switched the letter, my name was Air. i thought it might be a great thing to be the air. i could be something and nothing at the same time. i could be necessary and also invisible. everyone would need me and no one would be able to see me.
Working on the bonus Opal tarot card that’ll come with all paperback copies of The Raven King ordered from @fountainbookstore.
Well I had the paperback preordered from Amazon but now it’s been preordered from Fountain instead.
i don’t CARE how dreamy chris pine is the entire second princess diaries filme is unrealistic DRIVEL and does not deserve to be spoken about in the same BREATH as the first movie……….. mia thermopolis would NEVER have broken up with michael moscovitz the very idea of it shoud make us all SHUDDER it is the VERY DEFINITION of irresponsible filmmaking to even SUGGEST that mia would just FORGET about the man who SAW HER WHEN SHE WAS INVISIBLE!!!!!! i cannot BELIEVE the AUDACITY of some of you and frankly

On Spotify if anyone else wants it. Just FYI after actually going through the whole thing I’m upgrading this from “pretty good” to “probably the best playlist ever” so there’s that.
Just FYI Spotify failed me on 3 tracks if you want to complete your experience:
Mauritius - Sam Cardon (Earth Cinema) Jake Lonergan - Harry Gregson-Williams (Cowboys & Aliens Soundtrack) Colibri - MBM
At least half of this playlist was the music of my childhood. My parents raised me on a lot of 60’s music and classic rock.

I won this book from a giveaway that Book Riot did and it just arrived today! I can’t wait to read it. I loved the 36 Questions podcast so I’m really interested to see how the author used the 36 Questions study in this book. Thanks @bookriot @hachettebooks @vicki_grantya
I tried to post this yesterday but it’s no where to be found now. So this is now a day late but it’s officially November so it’s time to start my reread of The Scorpio Races! I read it for the first time last November and this year I’m listening to the audiobook. The narrators are great so far.
It’s a beautiful day! Reblog this post and tell me who’s your favorite Stiefvater character and why. I’ll give one reblog this ARC at 9 pm EST. (9/15/17). Int’l ok.
My favorite is Ronan for sure. I started the Raven Cycle only a couple months before the last book came out so I had a lot of vague ideas about who the fan favorites were and I knew a lot of people loved Ronan. I'll admit I didn't get it at first but I caught on quickly. He's such an interesting character and the fact that we only got his POV in 2 out of 4 books also really shaped how and what we learned about him.
“I bet you could sometimes find all the mysteries of the universe in someone’s hand.”
Decided to put these together. Summer boys got me so emotional at the start of winter. ;u; these will be prints soon probably.
A comic adaptation of the opening scene of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern which is such a beautiful book and was so fun to try and adapt. Done for my comics class in college and actually surprised myself by how much I liked making comics so i might make more…maybe..someday… Anyway everyone should read the book because it’s fabulous

The Scorpio Races: Sean Kendrick + Puck Connally
In the middle of all this, as Sean slips out of his jacket, he looks over his shoulder at me and he smiles at me, just a glancing, faint thing before he turns back to Tommy. I’m quite happy for that smile, because Dad told me once you should be grateful for the gifts that are the rarest.
I love it when I’m reading a book and I’m not just (super) into it, I’m obsessed with it. Like, it’s all I can think about. It’s all I want to be doing. I’m tempted to read it everywhere and anywhere. While the car heats up, when I’m at a stoplight, during meals, breaks at work, literally any chance I get.
