Women in these relationships: cook and clean for everybody including vacuuming, wiping and sterilizing, washing dishes, cleaning up after kids, laundry (sorting, loading, transferring, drying, folding, putting away) for everyone in the house, grocery shopping, keeping the house stocked up on all needs at all times, making plans and hosting gatherings, taking their children to school (after getting them ready, which includes feeding, dressing, and bathing them), take their children to appointments and birthday parties and playdates, which they also plan and host themselves for their children, they buy gifts for all these parties and for their own children and husband, and also perform elaborate beauty rituals: regular salon appointments to cut and colour their hair, styling that hair, wearing stylish and age-appropriate outfits, oh and speaking of outfits they personally manage their children’s wardrobes and often their husband’s as well, she shaves and waxes and perfumes herself and has appointments for nails or does them herself. She is expected to perform sex on demand and is not allowed to refer to her husband’s whining about this as “nagging.” She must coordinate all household expenses and bills and make sure they are paid and also coordinate any repairs or renovations (in my experience, men love to claim they do this but when I talk to their wives, they’re the ones actually doing it). She also chauffers kids around to activities. She is also the one who carries and gives birth to children. If either parent’s career is going to suffer, it is vastly more likely to be hers.

So like… men are peer pressured into having a wife and kids they can show off all without lifting a fucking finger to help, and get to enjoy a clean home, hot meals, and clean and new clothes organized for them without having to lift a fucking finger. Women are pressured into managing and doing everything to make all this possible, and then are peer pressured into being beautiful, which men are also within their grounds to mock them for and chastise them for spending so much money on… even though they want their wives to look that way. Point with one hand and jerk off with the other.
