Well, no one said it was Harry who was sick. But the media (and many fans) assumed it was him. Then someone started a rumor he was in the hospital.

But the problem is, he’s been videotaped walking/exercising somewhere today, so everyone is going to assume that he just decided to cancel the show because of poor ticket sales.

Meanwhile, I’d bet it was poor ticket sales. But I’d bet even more that it wasn’t Harry’s choice to cancel.

The fact that neither he nor HSHQ have directly posted is a really bad look. The only other time I recall him cancelling was when he got sick in LA. But he wrote a heartfelt message, apologized, and rescheduled.

Anon, you can call out xenophobia while also recognizing when fans have crossed boundaries. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

The criticism has never been about all latam fans—it’s about the people who take things too far.

I don’t care where you live or what you look like, but there’s a difference between being an enthusiastic fan and stalking, live-posting his location, crowding him wherever he goes and acting like you’re entitled to his time or attention.

Of course it’s exciting to spot him out in public. But if he’s given space and treated like a human being instead of a circus animal, chances are the interaction will be much nicer for everyone involved.

Maybe it’s time fans from LATAM stops crying like victims all the time, it’s like you’re just waiting for the first person to call out shitty behaviour to scream xenophobic at all of us! Sorry, but we’re allowed to call out stalker behaviour when it’s clearly what’s happening, just like we did in Amsterdam and London.

Maybe it’s time you guys actually called out those people yourself to get it to stop instead of defending the shitty behaviour?

It’s not racists or xenophobic to call people out who camp outside his hotel, make groupchats to share where he’s staying or follow him around during his runs.

Theres a reason he doesn’t go out alone, but is bringing TWO bodyguards + his manager/trainer for every walk. We didn’t see him do that in Europe, because it’s in fact more intense in LATAM and Harry clearly doesn’t fell safe alone.
