im pretty sure its pretty rare to see qifrey jealous since he’s very secure in his relationship with reader/knows his love is returned!! but im curious to think wht do u think those rare cases of seeing qifrey jealous would beee :)

(I don’t know if you’re caught up on the manga, but I feel as though this has very very slight manga spoilers in terms of qifrey’s relationship with another character, just a heads up)
I entirely agree that it is rare to see Qifrey jealous, however, I think early on in the relationship he tends to get a bit jealous. but that’s simply when it comes to his own insecurities or feeling that he is not worthy of your love or anyone else’s for that sake.
I think that he’d see reader laughing and having a good time with Olruggio, maybe even placing your hand on his shoulder as you giggle, and it would twist something in his gut. He would start replaying in his head all the times you’ve laughed with him and maybe it wasn’t as hard as you just currently laughed with Olruggio and now he’s upset. He’d probably pout about it for the rest of the day simply because he doesn’t really understand what he’s feeling. But we ultimately make him talk to us about it, and ease his insecurities. And throughout the relationship he gets much better with communication and understanding why he’s having these feelings and how to talk to us about it so we can reassure him.
BUT, I also think there’s minuscule times where he gets jealous out of possessiveness. Like that’s mine, get away. I think it absolutely happens either when you go to visit The Great Hall or say the knights moralis come knocking on the atelier door. *cough* Easthies *cough* and he does not like him, nor does he want him near you. If he gets too friendly with you, Qifrey will “accidentally” drench him in water with a spell, before guiding you away and telling him to go see Olruggio to get dried off. I think if Easthies tried to get close to you again, Qifrey would start throwing insults, and you would have to take him away from the situation, and tell him how childish he was being. (I really think Easthies just grinds his gears)(but i’ll admit they are incredibly intelligent and creative insults he comes up with)
So ultimately, I think once Qifrey is comfortable in your relationship there’s not a lot that will get him jealous, besides maybe Easthies at times, but at that point he’s just because he doesn’t trust him around you and nothing to do with you. My reader is typically a brat, so she will do things to try and get Qifrey jealous and mad and ya know what happens after that, but it’s incredibly difficult the longer you’re with him because he knows what you’re doing and he’s very secure in your love for him.
