They didn't say anything about the Ring of Honor/HOF for Kling with this announcement, so seems like at least right now she's not going in, no. Not really sure who that HOF is for if someone like her isn't in it lol. I was gonna say maybe there's a waiting period after retirement, but Sinc went in the very next season 🤷♀️

They could put Becky in the Ring of Honor/HOF I guess but yeah they already did the whole pregame ceremony thing with her last season. (Also, I found it interesting Kling isn't going into the Ring of Honor.)
There's definitely unfinished business with Tobin and it seems she's re-warmed up to the Thorns over the last year or so after what happened, so we'll see.

No shade to Becky, but how tf did she get hers retired before Tobin? Genuinely asking. I believed she retired before Tobin, but even still, I wouldn’t expect her to be honored before Tobin
So, I haven't followed the Thorns since Tobin left, but I just looked it up. She didn't get hers retired. She had a pre-game retirement celebration where she was gifted a commemorative jersey.
A writer for the Thorns posted under a tweet about the upcoming Portland game where they're honoring Kling that "Folks, there will be ANOTHER CLUB LEGEND HONORED very soon as well. 👀"
This sure sounds like it could be Tobin. They already honored Sinc with the Ring of Honor thing and retired her jersey, and they honored Becky last year and retired her jersey. I'm struggling to think of who else besides Tobin would qualify as a club legend and is retired. Allie Long hasn't officially retired (she played for a USL team this year) but I guess it could be her. I hope it's Tobin and she gets some closure with the Thorns.
"Very soon" sounds to me like it'd be the Aug 22 game, the one after Kling. Or Sept 6.

Damn I wonder what that means for next year women World Cup.
Either FIFA caves and doesn't go through with their plans, or there will be no UEFA teams at the tournament. It's a shame it's happenening so close to the 2027 World Cup.
Tomorrow's ep is the live one they shot at ACFC Pride House. Makes sense since they've been recovering etc., though I wish it was gonna be less World Cup focused (based on the description)
It was a Pride/World Cup event, so I'm not surprised the episode is related to that.
Maybe next episode. I also hope they discuss Infantino's idiotic money-grabbing plans though, which is still World Cup related.
