I do relate very hard to vsmp Apo in the first episode where she tried to play what she thought was a harmless prank (stealing Martyn’s book) only for him to absolutely blow up at her and be left feeling confused and defensive, because she was EARNESTLY TRYING to make a connection and join in with the teasing and jokes that the others were making, only now it’s backfired and now everyone is mad at her and she’s still trying to understand what she did wrong (nothing, she did nothing wrong, but it’s hard to convince yourself of that when you’re constantly having to apologize or make up for the mistakes that you didn’t know you were making)

I believe that Apo and Cherri would be up for polyamory, but literally all of Oakhurst just fumbled Apple so hard by not treating her like a genuine person. Many traumatised oakhurstians could have a) scored not one but two bad bitches and b) gone home to a warm place full of laughter and love. But nooooo, she had to be perfect or she was a monster. Never mind that not a single other person is held to the same standard by the other characters and the fans.
