âGet back to your posts.â Chris knew that he didnât have to say it, but he was still the primary authority figure in the camp, and he didnât want anyone to think too much about their own autonomy. When they were gone, he regarded the teen, who had stubbornly stayed down. âGet up. Come with me. You try to attack me from behind, you wonât see sunrise. Do you have a name?â
The teenâs jaw clenched as he stood up and tried to brush dirt off of his clothes. It was a lost cause. After a few extra seconds of silence, while he followed Chris into the house, he spoke. âGarfield.â
âLike the cat?â Chris scoffed, pulling a chair out and gesturing for him to sit down. He was tall enough to be in his late teens, if he was a teenager at all. Chris was pretty sure that his guards had gotten it wrong. The guyâs light brown eyes gave away his fear and anger, and Chris decided to try to be nice. He understood those feelings all too well.
âEvery name is a valid name, you dick. And itâs after the president, not the cat.â

There was A LOT wrong with last night's Teen Wolf episode. I stayed until the end for a character who never showed up. I might not watch again until the season ends. Or ever.
can we please have stiles stilinski back iâm kind of bored and really sad
Okay, so I found myself having to explain why I donât like Marrish. Hereâs why. (Fair warning, this might be triggering.)
Imagine that you have a best friend. Female. Highly intelligent. She starts having insomnia and routinely wakes up screaming, and there are parts of her childhood that she canât quite remember. These things suggest abuse or trauma in a personâs history. Just when that friend of yours starts to seek help and try to uncover the truth about the memories she has blocked out, a guy comes along with problems similar to hers. Instead of getting the help she needs, she devotes her time to helping him. She pushes her own issues aside, ignoring them as they continue and worsen. She gets physically ill and, more than once, ends up catatonic. Meanwhile, the guy sheâs developed an unhealthy interest in (and it is unhealthy when sheâs putting her own needs aside to meet his) is committing crimes and at one point, breaking out of jail. While yes, this is Teen Wolf and weâre talking about a banshee and a hellhound... I donât care what kind of supernatural elements are involved. No characters, male, female, alien, cyborg or otherwise should EVER put their own mental health at risk or let it remain at a low point, just to please a significant other. Especially not one that has the potential to put them at risk. Lydia and Parrish could happen one day, maybe. But not until she goes on her own journey of self-discovery and leaves him to conquer his.

being pregnant sounds terrible and i am not interested
About one out of every ten women is frightened of or repulsed by pregnancy and/or childbirth. It is called tokophobia. So you are not alone.
Today I watched The Notebook for the second time, ever.
Unlike Lydia, I wasnât obsessed with this movie. I didnât use it as a punishment for misbehaving boyfriends. The one time I did see it, I was unimpressed. I remember hating the movie. Maybe because there were so many years we didnât get to see for Allie and Noah. Because their lives had such a gap. And maybe it had a lot to do with the fact that she went back to the guy that started off their relationship being emotionally manipulative. That they argued all the time. To me, thatâs not romantic. But this time around, I paid more attention to the era. You canât judge someone from the past, based on todayâs social cues. Allie and Noah defied what was expected of them. Maybe the years we missed were the ones where they were suffering. It makes me think of how things were for June in Walk the Line. And I think that Lydia Martin is based heavily on Allie, by her own choice. She studies French, Latin and math. She loves to paint. She argues with her boyfriend and theyâre back together two minutes later. I imagine a nine year old Lydia Martin watching this movie with her older sister and daydreaming about a love so powerful that it overrides a debilitating illness. She probably learned Latin to be like Allie. And when she got older and the new girl in school was named Allison, Lydia was drawn in. Sheâs a fangirl and she envied this brunette just for her name.

there is something supernatural taking place here that we are not understanding.

Allison walked down the hallway quickly, her ankle bootsâ heels snapping against the pavement sharply underneath her, her skirt flapping gently around her at her movements. Making her way up the stairs of the building, she flung herself past the doorway, looking for Lydia and Stiles. Running up to her best friend, she had to stop herself by grasping both Lydia and Stilesâ shoulders, her feet sliding a little beneath her. Recovering quickly, she grabbed Lydiaâs arm. âDid you see him? Has he seen you yet?â Her gaze darted around for the boy in question, seeking out Jackson in both paranoia and and eagerness to see how it would affect Lydia.
âI havenât seen him.â Lydia admitted. âIâve been deliberately avoiding the hallway I know his locker is in. Iâm not sure what to say to him.â âTell him heâs an assface.â Stiles smiled. âYouâre not helping. Not even slightly.â Lydia frowned at Stiles.

Allison shook her head, accepting the money from Stiles with a laugh and tucking it into her pocket. She turned where Lydia told her to, frowning as she drove down the road and came to a stop outside of an old bank. âGodfreyâs buddies ran to Shadowfang after Godfrey killed Sylvanas, and Cromush was poisoned by them. I still donât understand why he was there, but I bet heâs kicking himself for it.â She murmured, then looked at her best friend. âIs this the place?â She asked.

Lydia nodded. âYes, this is it.â She got out of the car, idly swinging her purse to get a better feel for the weight of it as she waited for Stiles and Allison.
crossbowsandsilver:
Allison darted a glance at Stiles, grinning. âI bet you fifty dollars weâre going to walk in on her screaming at her computer and whatever sheâs attacking in a week.â She hadnât told Stiles yet, but she had already caved and opened her own account two days before. She wasnât addicted yet, by any means, but she could feel it coming. Thinking back to what Lydia had mentioned about learning to fight, Allison brushed her best friendâs shoulder with her fingers before she sat on the ground and began to stretch next to Stiles. âI can show you basics, if you want. Attack stances and stuff. Maybe a little blade handling?â

Lydia rolled her eyes a week later as she watched Stiles pout at her and hand Allison fifty dollars. âI donât care how hurt you are, this is what you wanted. I just donât understand why all of these guys are hanging around Shadowfang Keep. Or why Cromush is with them. If they went there after Godfrey killed Sylvanas, then Cromush shouldnât have trusted them. But if they went before Godfrey killed Sylvanas, then how are they helping me kill that gnome and get the attack plans?â âFirst of all, heâs a dwarf, not a gnome.â Stiles corrected. âAnd secondly -â âI donât care what he is, heâs dead.â Lydia interrupted. âAnd thereâs no explanation for the deviation in the storyline. I hate retcons. Allison, turn left up here.â She gripped the strap of her purse a little tighter and hoped the weight of it would be enough to deter any attackers from getting too close. She wasnât comfortable enough with Allisonâs ring daggers, yet. Stiles had suggested an alternative and made her watch a couple episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She didnât want to put a brick into her purse, but she had settled for one of her small weights. crossbowsandsilver
