"Draw the Squad" practice using one of @snuffysbox's many amazing references. Was a lot of fun! I'll likely use more to practice drawing Luke, Marie and Mal in more varied poses than the strip usually calls for.

I mean…

I've always been fascinated by the Monster Hunter universe, but was always put off by the ridiculous size of the weapons. I am keenly aware that there is a devout following for the series and that these people find the art style and...overt...size of the weaponry charming. I'm a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, so I'm no stranger to oversized swords. But after playing the beta for Monster Hunter World, it just felt silly to effortlessly swing a hammer that is easily six times the size of my character and likely weighs as much as a small house. But, to each their own! The game isn't without its attractions and, who knows, maybe I'll find a weapon set that's more suited to my tastes.
