How to write an interracial relationship the RIGHT way
I've written about how racist and ridiculous it is to suggest that readers only like T'Challa and Ororo together because they're both Black. The most hateful readers will take it one step further and suggest that T'Choro Nation is against interracial couples, particularly Black/white pairings. I can't speak for anyone but me, but I'll just say the idea is laughable and insulting, especially since one of my absolutely favorite canon couples is a Black woman and a white man.* The difference? This couple actually works well. They have chemistry. They treat each other with respect. They are bad asses in their own right, but they also make each other better. Oh, and they were actually in love.
